2005 Community Impact Grants
United Way of Southeast Alaska (UWSEAK) has awarded $41,254 in
Community Impact Grants to fund projects submitted by eight partner
agencies, in addition to grants funding the Day of Caring and
disaster relief programs coordinated by the American Red Cross and
United Way of America.
"We are extremely excited about the types of projects that will
be completed this year as a result of the granting process. Each one
responds to an issue our community has indicated as important,"
remarked Michelle Casey, who chairs the UWSEAK Community Impact
Committee.
