To implement a community impact United Way program capable of
addressing individual needs and improving lives by organizing
the caring powers of our communities.
Build the board and its diversity. Grow and maintain a
strong and diverse board representing Southeast communities.
Support a professional staff dedicated to the promotion of the
United Way purpose.
Implement COMPASS II. Develop a valid methodology to
identify the most urgent community social service needs and
effective solutions to those needs.
Program support. Mobilize our communities to most
effectively support United Way programs with human and financial
resources.
Build public awareness and reputation. Through
improved communications, raise the relevance of the United Way
purpose and the reputation of its programs throughout Southeast
Alaska.
