Project Homeless Connect 2013
Juneau Homeless Coalition will host its 4th Annual Project Homeless Connect event at Centennial Hall on Monday, January 28, 2013, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Project Homeless Connect is a one-day event designed to connect those currently experiencing homelessness with support services in the areas of employment, housing, healthcare, mental and behavioral health, legal assistance, education, and much more. Over 50 agencies, providers, and businesses will participate. In 2012, more than 180 people attended and received services and goods.
This event is FREE and OPEN to all individuals!
Donate: From Monday, December 3 to Friday, January 25, United Way of Southeast Alaska will be collecting all non-food related items including, but not limited to: boots, combs and brushes, job interview clothes, laundry detergent, lotion, nail clippers, sweaters and sweatshirts, shampoo and soap, socks, tissues, toilet paper, toothbrushes and toothpaste, winter coats and accessories (hats, mittens, and gloves), and warm socks. Please complete a donation form (online or PDF).
Volunteer: More than 50 volunteers are needed to take surveys, escort participants to service providers, and provide additional support.
