The Southeast Alaska Independence Day Photo Contest is designed to bring awareness to the United Way of Southeast Alaska and benefit 34 nonprofits in our communities. We want to see how YOU celebrate the 4^th of July in this amazing part of the country we get to call home!

Create a spark in your community this 4th of July and show us how you will be celebrating by submitting a photo into our Southeast Alaska Independence Day Photo Contest.

1st place prize: $500.00

2nd place prize: $250.00

3rd place prize: $100.00

_{As this year's 4th of July celebrations may look a bit different due to COVID 19 that does not mean we cannot have some fun. Please show us your favorite patriotic photos of yourself, friends, and family, your pets, and your vehicles. Once submitted be sure to tell all of your friends so that they can vote for your photo and you have a chance at winning $500.00!}

_{Photos can be submitted starting June 10th, 2020 submissions will end July 7th at midnight.}

_{Voting will close on July 10th, 2020}

_{The winner will be determined and announced on July 14th.}

_{The sooner you get your photo in the longer you have to acquire votes from your community members.}

_{Ten extra points will be awarded to those who are able include a United Way logo into their picture.}
