AK Kindness Festival 2020

This year marks R.O.C.K. Juneau's 3rd Annual Community Kindness Festival. For the past two years, kindness has been magnified throughout Juneau with the help of your efforts. Because of the many challenges of COVID-19, we're busy’re-imagining' how connection, resources sharing, community engagement, and kindness can be celebrated in a new & magnificent way!

This year, starting in the week of Thanksgiving, we invite you to actively join with all of Juneau for a 7-week Kindness Festival (Thanksgiving to New Year’s)! Each week, we've selected a theme to focus our acts of kindness towards. We'll announce those themes every Friday from 12 noon to 12:45pm on Facebook Live and on social media. Everyone is invited to post pictures, text, and short videos showing themselves & friends showing kindness, using #AKkindnessfestival2020.

During those Friday events, we will invite our 4 weekly resource sponsors to describe and promote their services and supports for Juneau's kids, teens, and families. Along with the 3 other community resource sponsors, you will be able to encourage messages of hope, connection, and healing. (7 weeks, with 4 sponsors each week = only 28 sponsor spaces.)

A sponsor fee is $100, and payment can be submitted at: (Insert Donation Page Address Here). In addition, your logo will be connected to our social media posts during the week you sponsor. Your fee supports our expanded promotion outreach efforts. Also, you're invited to be with us during our weekly Juneau Afternoon radio spot, KINY spot, and our ad in the Juneau Empire. (radio & print commitments pending)

In addition, we encourage sponsors to contribute gift items for the weekly prizes drawn from our hashtag posts. CBJKids.org is now willing to be the hub for all digital resources (website links, information, articles, video & tools/examples) that support kids and families in Juneau.
