Become a Reading Tutor
If you enjoy working one-on-one with children and want to have a meaningful impact on our community, we suggest becoming a Coeur Alaska: LEARN UNITED Reading Tutor!
- Caring volunteers have the power to help kids boost their reading achievement and put them on track for a bright future.
- Reading tutors develop nurturing relationships that will boost children’s self-esteem and ability to learn and promote language and literacy skills.
Work with a grade K-2 student, 1-2 times a week for 30 minutes during the school day and have lots of fun with kids!
